What’s your cancellation and reschedule policy?

Stoker has a 7-day cancellation policy. We do not offer refunds for cancellations less than 7 days.

If you choose to cancel your booking inside this 7-days, you will be issued a credit to re-book another date.

Cancellations 48 hours prior to your workshop will receive no refund or credit. This includes if you are unwell. You are welcome to send a friend to take your place.

Bookings can be rescheduled with a minimum of 36 hours notice. Please email us and we’ll move you to another date.

Under no circumstances will a refund or credit be given for workshop non-attendance.

Being a small independent creative studio, a workshop can only be rescheduled once.

 

Cancellations by Stoker Studio

Most workshops require a minimum of five participants to go ahead. In the event we don’t achieve minimum bookings, we’ll notify you by email and issue you a full refund.

When will my work be ready after a workshop?

Please allow 4 weeks for your creations to go through the kilns. Keep an eye on your inbox and spam folder. We’ll email you as soon as they’re ready for collection. We can only hold work for up to three months. After this time it will be donated to a local school.

What do I need to bring to class?

As well as those creative juices, if you’re here for pottery we recommend an apron or old tee and a towel to dry your hands with. Short nails are also great for making pots. 

What happens if my work cracks in the kiln?

All care is taken in workshops to ensure our student’s work is well made, however this is pottery we’re dealing with, and there’s always the odd casualty. We take no responsibility for work that cracks or breaks. 


Do you offer a firing service?

We only offer a firing service for our members. We recommend our pals at Northcote Pottery for all your public firing needs.

Can I visit the studio any time?

Stoker is by appointment only. If you’d love to pop in, shoot us an email first to make sure we’re here!


Do you have parking?

Stoker has six car parks on site. If they’re already full there’s plenty of on street parking on Diane and Frank street.  

is your studio accessible?

Yes. Stoker is has accessible parking directly out the front of the studio.
