Stoker Studio Makers’ Memberships

An inspiring and supportive clay community here to help you connect, grow, and thrive.

Designed for students and budding potters looking to further explore this exciting craft independently, Stoker’s Makers’ program provides members with studio access and all the equipment needed (including wheels, tools, materials, glaze and firing) to support them as their grow their practice.  

Members are issued their own key code to access the building. It’s 100% creative freedom to come and go, and make at your own pace. .

Maker’s Membership inclusions

  • Access 5 days a week:

    Tuesday 4pm-late
    Wednesday 7am-5pm
    Thursday 4pm-late
    Friday 7am-5pm
    Sunday 7am-late

  • Use of 10 Shimpo wheels

  • Large workshop tables

  • Slab roller

  • Tools

  • Storage shelf for your work

  • Access to studio dipping glazes

  • Access to glaze and firing technician

  • In-house firing service by Stoker Staff $9/kg (We fire to Cone 6-7. A full kiln can be hired for other temps)

  • Clay available for purchase - Walkers Stoneware 10, Keanes Midfire Warm 33/Feeney’s White Raku/Feeney’s Fine Blend

  • Kitchen, fridge & tea facilities

  • Unlimited Wifi

$250 per month on a month-by-month base (Two month minimum)

Join the program

Before joining the program, please note there may not be a teacher on-site at all times, so it’s important you feel confident to work independently. If you have any questions about this, feel welcome to email us here.

To use the pottery wheels, you must also have completed a 6-week course with us or at another studio..

Once your application is received, we’ll get your membership set up and book a time to give you a studio tour and induction.

Seats in our membership program are limited and a waitlist system will be in place once full.
